Training Session Info
I travel to you, we set goals, and we get started! Sessions are done at the client home with the dog owner present as it is important for the owner to have consistency using the given techniques to see the most progress with their dog. Each session will run for an hour. You can expect to have hands on experience handling your own dog in a more beneficial way as I believe it is needed for the dog and the dog owner. You will receive more efficient techniques in handling, helpful tips and tricks, training equipment recommendations-if needed, and someone who is committed to helping you out!

Basic obedience, loose-leash walking, house manners, resource guarding, behavior modification, reactivity issues, crate training, recall and off-leash work.
Basic Obedience & House Manners
Basic obedience and house manners include but are not limited to: sit, lay down, stay, leave it, no running out the front door, and no jumping on guests. Let’s get your dog in a position to respect your given commands and invited guests!
Loose-Leash Walking
I will provide you with tricks and necessary tools to teach your dog how to be a well-mannered walker. Having your arm be pulled away from your body, your dog barking at everything he sees, and is constantly a tripping hazard is something nobody wants to have so let’s fix it!
Reactivity Issues & Resource Guarding
Reactivity Issues can range from barking at a pedestrian passing the home to lunging, growling, and even biting. This can happen inside the home, or anywhere else out in the world. Resource Guarding looks like a dog defending something he/she really values. This can be a specific item, a special treat, daily dinner, or even his/her owner. Typical resource guarding behavior looks like growling, snarling, nipping, barking at, or protecting. Reactivity Issues and Resource Guarding can become dangerous if it’s not at that point already! Don’t feel as if this is a problem that can’t be fixed because it is possible to get your dog under control and better than before!
Recall & Off-Leash Work
Dog doesn’t listen when called or sends you on a wild goose chase? Don’t trust your dog off-leash? Worried about your dog running away? Let’s get that handled! Don’t live in fear when your dog can be trusted and earn more freedom. Recall is one of the most important commands your dog needs to know. Think about all the possible situations you could be in… Say you open the front door trying to bring in a package on your porch.. dog runs out the door.. then sees a cat across the street.. dog books it on over there.. you notice and try to call your dog back to you.. dog cares more about the cat than you, crosses that street fast and gets hit by an oncoming car.. TERRIBLE situation but really is so likely to happen and does happen!!! Please keep your dog safe.
